Job Responsibilities Under the supervision and direction of the hiring manager, the Student Assistant assists with general administration and operational support in the School of Nursing and Health Professions (SONHP).
oAdhere to University student employment policies and the SONHP student employee confidentiality agreement.
oAssist with scanning, double checking, and filing/uploading student records electronically oAssist with word processing, data entry, and ad hoc projects as assignedoOther administrative duties as assignedoWill manage a small portfolio of projectsoMay also have opportunities for professional development and training on University databases, including Salesforce and Jade.
Minimum QualificationsoPossess strong oral and written communication skills and exhibit enthusiasm for USF while maintaining excellent professional competence.
oExtremely detail-oriented and ability to read, interpret, and transfer data accurately.
oProfessional, reliable, and strong work ethic.
oAbility to manage confidential information and adhere to University privacy policies.
oAbility to meet tight deadlines and provide appropriate follow-up and status updatesoExceptional organizational skills.
oAbility to take initiative and work independently.
oProficiency with PC and Mac systems and software applications including Microsoft Office, Adobe, Google Workspace; database systems experience is a plus.
Desired Qualifications oSONHP students as well as non-SONHP students are encouraged to apply.
oPrevious administration, office work experience, or employment are a plus.
oAt least a 1 year commitment is preferred.
