Job Description:
Under the general supervision of the Director of Engineering Laboratories, the Innovation Hive Laboratory Assistant works with faculty, staff, and students, supporting classes as needed, and ensures that labs, classrooms, equipment, and materials are used properly and safely.
The Lab Assistants will also be responsible for conducting workshops to train students on the safe use of materials and equipment in the labs.
Responsibilities Day to day management of the lab Cleaning Organizing Small equipment repairs, Contact lab director for broken equipment Report on inventory needs Aiding students in the lab Monitor the lab to ensure operating and safety protocols are being followed Conducting workshops to lead students through the proper use of laboratory equipment Fabrication of materials and research under direct supervision of Director Perform additional duties as assigned by the Director of Engineering Laboratories Full-Time/Part-Time:
